Hotupa「I hope we can find out about the books, bring Erin to Headquarters and then get out of here quickly.」

Marica「Erin, you're an Order member of sorts, right?
Did you understand what that vendor meant when he said "the day when the One True Way will be realized" ?」
Erin「Sorry. In Grayridge, everybody was required to be an Order member, at least outwardly.
But my father and I never really listened seriously to what the Order had to say.」
Marica「I can understand that.」
Hero「*yawn* Man, I'm gettin' sleepy. I guess it's time for bed...」
Marica「Hold on.」

Marica「Do you hear something?」

Jale「I hear it.」
Erin「Somebody sounds like they're in trouble!」
Hotupa「It sounds like it's coming from the next room!」

Hero「Hey, mister! You all right?!」
Jale「He's unconscious.」
Erin「He's got a really bad fever!」
Marica「Erin and I will stay with him. You guys go get a doctor!」
Hero「Okay!」

Clerk「It's the middle of the night! Is there something wrong?」
Hero「The oldman in the next room is sick!」
Clerk「I see.」
Hero「Whadiya mean, "I see"?! Go get a doctor!」
Clerk「I can't do that.」
Hotupa「Why not?!」
Clerk「Whether a person gets sick or gets better is all predetermined.
A doctor wouldn't do any good. If a person is meant to get better, he will.」

　＞Hero　＞＞Then what are doctores for?!
　　Clerk「Doctors are for looking after injuries or long-term illnesses.
　　　　　　　A doctor can help with the pain of a long sickness or
　　　　　　　help rehabilitate the patient.
　　　　　　　Giving relief in those kinds of situations, that doctors can do.
　　　　　　　But doctors don't know how to cure sudden illnesses.」

　＞Hero　＞＞Forget it! I'll go find one myself!
    Clerk「H-hey, wait! If you do that, that old man and all of us will be

    Jale「What?!」
    Clerk「Any no doctor is going to come, anyway!
　　　　　　That would make the doctor a dissident too!」

Hero「You gotta be kiddin' me...」


Hero「Sorry! I can't get a doctor!」
Marica「We heard. It's just ridiculous!」
Erin「He seems to be stabilizing now. Let's wait until morning and see how it goes.」

Old Man「Ngh...」
Erin「Are you okay?」
Old Man「I-I...What happened?」
Marica「Oh, thank goodness! He's awake!」
Hero「You started moanin' and groanin' in the middle of the night.
We were really worried about ya! Marica and Erin took care of ya all night. Ya better thank'em!」
Old Man「Took care... Took CARE of me?!

If I wasn't meant to, I wouldn't have! If this gets out, they'll think I'm a dissident!
But wait! I suppose my meeting up with this temptation into dissidence this way was ALSO predetermined...
So that means... If I get upset about this, that's dissidence in itself. Hmm, I have a lot to learn.

Hero「Let's just go to the library and Headquarters and get outta here fast! If I stay much longer in this city, I think I'm gonna go crazy.」

Marica「Grayridge was pretty bad, but this place!
These people don't even seem like they're from the same world!」
Erin「I'm starting to think maybe I don't even need to go to Headquarters.
I can judge pretty well from this city what kind of place Order Headquarters would be.」
Hotupa「In any case, the library and Order Headquarters are in the same building, so we might as well go.」
